My first Cywydd Llosgyrnog
You can't help yourself, seeking more soulful words from swift fleeting shore; man's flesh shan't soar, but verse can; Futures flash, forever flow fast; Fey fancies; concepts; visions ~ last, These survive past man's lifespan
I have scheduled this poem to be published while I am offline for Shabbat -enjoy!

Very well said within a nice rhyme scheme.
I like this one a lot – and I’ve been exploring other Welsh poetic forms – I’m going to try a few this week, I think 🙂
I enjoy observing your poetic experiments, David.
Excellent, David, and so worth the recitation.
Much love, George ❤
The lasting power of the written words.
Reflecting poem with a lovely flow. 💖
Pun intended. 😄
I certainly agree that verse can soar 🙂
You too, Lauren (it’s already over here in Jerusalem, so – shavua tov!)
Interesting form! I got a headache trying to read the rules 🤯
It seems the Welsh have a lot of cool forms – I’m going to try out some more soon, I think, Ingrid❣️
Thank you so much, D&R❣️
You welcome 😘
David, poetry is our immortality on earth. ❤ Lovely poem! Take care.
Thank you so much, Cheryl. I really appreciate your kindness.
Gah! Internal rhyme! That is my kryptonite! I admire any one who can master that technique – hats off to you!
Muri – I am sure you can do it. It’s just a matter of muttering to yourself under your breath for a while 😀
