My blogger-poet-friend Ingrid inspired me to create a Twitter account and start writing #APoemADay, which I began on January 1, 2021.
For some reason, this week felt very intense to me when it came to my writing… I wouldn’t say that I struggled to write every day, but I very strongly felt the weight of my dedication to my poetry project (both on Twitter and especially here on WordPress). I’m beginning to feel that my lived existence is becoming inseparable from creative written expression.
Below is my 15th week of Twitter poems:
Shabbat Shalom from Jerusalem,
David
I am still amazed by how you can keep churning good stuff, lol. You obviously have the gift to write.
Well, Angela, I am humbled that you consider it “good”.
Thank you!
David
Lol, I knew I should have said great instead of good. Jokes aside, you write very, very well. 🙂
Thank you so much, Angela. You make me blush.
😊

See?

Interesting variety, David.
Shabbat Shalom!

Wonderful poems David. Good Shabbos.

I thought your Twitter posts were interesting. It is challenging to write a poem a day. I admire you for taking it on.
Thanks so much, Molly.

Well done David! I’ve decided to knock Twitter poetry on the head as I felt it was draining my creative energy. But it’s been great to share the journey with you!
Ingrid, do you mean that you are not doing it any longer? 😦
I will miss your company.
❤
David
I am not! Or at least not every day. But I will continue to retweet your poems 😊
I really appreciate it, Ingrid. And thank you for the inspiration.
