My 1st ‘Magic 9’ poem
Might abacadaba be a charm, Or perhaps potent poetic hex? Would that it could guard from harm, Its very form a counter-curse spell! What guides forth poet's tired arm? His mind, or weird magic force? Could such rhymes barbarian disarm, Or vile sorcerer's intentions vex? ... Well, should I vanish, please raise the alarm!

… for pedestrians like myself, I have just looked up resources for – well procrastination: the Open University has a web site openlearn with loads of free audio and script material – including on poetry. ๐
I often think how lucky we are to be living during this information era – so much is available to us at our very fingertips. Anyone who invests enough time doing online research can make him/herself out as very clever these days!

Having just looked up the structure of a Magic 9 poem, I can see that this is clever and playful. I like it very much and could have a lot of fun with this form.
