  1. On a less ferocious note:
“For as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, except it water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, and give seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, except it accomplish that which I please, and make the thing whereto I sent it prosper.” – Isaiah 55:10-11, JPS 1917 Tanach

  2. Good quote! But, you must remember Ben, we live in a post-truth society now! :p

    1. Yes, yes… you’re right, Nick… that’s been pointed out to me – I guess I still hold certain ideals despite the modern reality πŸ˜›

  3. … lol – seems like the diagonal opposite fro something someone said about original research: ‘If it’s really original, you don’t have to worry about somebody stealing it – you have to stuff it down their throat.’ But the lion is a better antidote to cynicism. Trouble is, the lion that is the British legal system has been kept in a zoo for too long; lost most of her skills for the wild.
