Any, or: Everything

My 2nd gogyohka

I do not write
about everything
because I do not know
anything about it,
let alone something

  1. btw – have been editing some of my short autobio essays today and some are scheduled for publication today. It seems knowing something and knowing-it-in-your-bones (embodied experience I think is the fashionable expression?) can be two very different things. Alternatively, if those who say Simone Weil was on the AS spectrum are right – then that may be something I have in common with her: issues with executive functioning. As for you, I hope you don’t get lost in the labyrinth of all those poetic forms. Can’t keep up πŸ™‚

  2. The gogyohka allows so much freedom – almost defies the regular Japanese standards… hehe! Looks like you not only mastered the form but ran with it!!
