My blogger-poet-friend Ingrid inspired me to create a Twitter account and start writing #APoemADay, which I began on January 1, 2021.
I find that I am increasingly enjoying playing with new-to-me forms of poetry. Of course, I’ve been enjoying these exercises for many months now, but, to my surprise and pleasure, I find that this is becoming increasingly true ๐
Below is my 21st week of Twitter poems:
Shabbat Shalom from Jerusalem,
David
Your Twitter poems are fantastic. I believe readers do know when a poet is trying too hard.
I think so too, Molly… but I still sometimes feel that I’m guilty of it ๐ณ

“Papa’s Book” touched me deeply, David.
The rest of them are delightful, in their various forms.
Shabbat Shalom!
Much love,
