3,000 โ€“ Thank You!

14 months of blogging

Friends,

I am going to keep this short, in haibun form. Further words won’t convey my appreciation for you any more effectively.

Thank you.

In the last 14 months, I have learned so much from our shared community ~ not only about poetry and other forms of creative writing, but also about your lives, worldviews, and cultures. This experience humbles me.

Also, I have developed as a poet, in ways that I had neither expected, nor even imagined. Every night, as I drift off to sleep, and then once again upon waking, I find myself mulling over how I might best translate abstract concepts and images into communicable lines of language; and the amazing discussions we’ve had here together continue inspiring and encouraging me.

As a way of saying ‘thank you’, I have published a few blogging insights that I’ve gleaned. I am happy to share the lessons that I’ve learned over the past year. Blogging on WordPress remains a learning experience for me, as I am sure it does for many of you.

  10. I’m so lucky that the poet has awakened in you! I have been enjoying your blog and especially your poetry. My only regret is that I have not been there from the beginning!
