My blogger-poet-friend Ingrid inspired me to create a Twitter account and start writing #APoemADay, which I began on January 1, 2021.
This week, I posted a recent series of 7 schuttelreims on Twitter for my daily poetry challenge. A schuttelreim is a two-line poem, which employs a spoonerism that makes sense. They are deceptively difficult… and they produce very silly results ๐คก
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this week’s Twitter poems!
Shabbat Shalom from Jerusalem,
David
A triumph. All of my own attempts turn out obscene! ๐คจ
Thanks, Colin – they’re very much like puzzles, ya know?
Although I don’t think there’s anything wrong with obscene poetry, per se ๐

I love these! For the pure joy of wordplay, Edesia is my favourite! ๐
Yeah – I was trying to figure out who would have an astronomical gait and also be into gastronomical things… ๐
Oh my, these are difficult to write! Love the comic effects though ๐
Yeah, they’re really not easy, but they’re super funโฃ๏ธ
Thanks, Shruba โค

P.S. I just followed you on Twitter (but I’m not very active there)
Aw I’ll check you out! I’m there often haha. ๐๐
I end up posting all of those Twitter poems here on WP every Friday anyway… so the real action is still here on the Skeptic’s Kaddish blog…
Ohh I see, I do that with Instagram often. If I post anything worthwhile there, I end up sharing it here too. ๐๐
