Gnosis unravels the

d’Verse

This is an experiment in chant poetry that was inspired by the d’Verse ‘chant poetry’ prompt.

We were instructed to either write a chant with real words or nonsense words where we focus on the sound and how it shall be sung.

Or incorporate elements of chant with hypnotic repetitions

  1. I would love to see you do the chant omitting the nonsense! But that’s just the wonk in me speaking. The 10 year old me is filled with giggles and whimsy!

  2. Ooh, love this! Very creative and it starts to merge the meaning of node, with it becoming foreign after reading it throughout (there’s a word for that, but I’m too lazy to look it up lol). Nicely written, David! I always love your work, it never fails to inspire.
