Succinct and to the point. Maybe news would be more palatable and helpful to us if it turned to such delivery?
Thank you for sharing your poetry. 😊
😀 it would be awesome if the news were presented in sijos and landays!
You’re so right, Hamish!

I keep away from the news. Too sensational and shallow. 🙂
💛 Terveen 💛 – yes, but it’s so depressing that we’ve gotten to such a point!
Excellent, David. Love it. ❤️

I agree! And the funny thing is I’ve worked as a reporter and have a journalism degree. The thing that gets me about media is that there always has to be a narrative. Sometimes things just are the way they are – idk if they’re part of some sweeping and complex story.
Then again, we humans are a story-telling species. So, maybe it has to be that way? lol
well definitely for entertainment purposes, a narrative works wonders… but news isn’t supposed to be entertainment.

I have started paying for news and encourage all who can to do so. It’s the only way to encourage good independent journalism. Yes reality can be quite difficult to make sense of 🙂
Yes, I’m very much in favor of independent journalism too! Thanks for bringing that up, Anita.
