A landay
The first line left him trembling, sweaty; his racing heart convulsed at the second, longer line
When I have a creative insight, there is a high. I think back in the day, I made music as much as I did because it made me feel so good. I think you could argue that there is a creative addiction – but, you know, the healthy kind.
–Lauryn Hill (b. 1975)

This is well-written. When writing becomes more than a passion, this could be the result.
I’ve never smoked and I don’t like alcohol. But I’m addicted to travelling, books, writing, music, cinema and… chocolate! ๐คฃ๐คฃโ๐๐๐โ๐ผ๐ง๐ฝ๐ฌ๐ซ๐ฅ

It’s a quote from someone although I don’t know the original source.
online, I see it being attributed both to Socrates and to Oscar Wilde…

I totally agree..If I am working on a big creative project..a video or building a virtual world that can take months,..Time flies by…and there is an obsession to just keep going until it’s finished///Once it’s finished….after being on a high for two days(“Yay! It’s finished!”) I find I have a terrible let down…almost like a postpartum depression and the only thing that can make me feel better…? Start another big project as soon as possible!:) and the cycle continues….
