This week, I posted a series of ukiahs, which are reverse haikus. The syllable count by line for a ukiah is 7-5-7 (the opposite of a haiku), and unlike a haiku, the lines should rhyme. Also, since a ukiah is the reverse of a haiku, each of my ukiahs was inspired by an inverted photograph of nature. I selected photographs, deliberately keeping in mind what their negatives would look like, and then I wrote my ukiahs upon seeing the final results.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy these ukiahs!
