Currency, or: Fool’s gold

A tricube

syllables
don't matter
when we speak

still, they serve
as meaning's
currency

for poets
that are spent
by tricubes

Tricube rules:

  • Each line contains three syllables.
  • Each stanza contains three lines.
  • Each poem contains three stanzas.

  1. I have been waiting to do a tricube but haven’t found time just yet – vacation put me behind schedule in more ways than one! I love the way you point out the poet’s conundrum. (applause)

    1. I only have to write another two months’ worth of micropoems… and then I can move on with my life… as of now, I’m almost done with the month of October ๐Ÿ˜€
