Perfectionism, or: Poetry

A tricube

best viewed on blog (not WP reader)

I know, I
know, I know,
I know, I

live, knowing
perfection
is merely

illusion;
still, I must
write just so

Tricube rules:

  • Each line contains three syllables.
  • Each stanza contains three lines.
  • Each poem contains three stanzas.

  1. Ah, the writer’s dilemma! It’s a pain especially when we want each line to be perfect in impact, structure, and rhythm. Well said! I love how this shows that even though we know nothing can be perfect, we want our own definition of perfection to show even if it is an illusion. ❤️❤️
