Tell me, or: Take me

An abhanga

EPIGRAPH:

The most powerful words in English are ‘Tell me a story,’ words that are intimately related to the complexity of history, the origins of language, the continuity of the species, the taproot of our humanity, our singularity, and art itself.

Pat Conroy (1945 – 2016)
Please ~ tell me your story
of our humanity.
Let be insanity,
take me with you.

  1. Thank you for sharing this quote and poem. A couple of years ago, I did a project for NaNoWriMo. I asked everyone I knew to tell me a story. Once I collected all of these, I wrote a short story to go with the story the person told.It was so much fun.
