You’d think, or: Wouldn’t you?

A biolet

You'd think words would want to be free
Still, verses mine crawl into forms
I urge them to buck dated norms
Cajoling, nudging, how I plea!
Still, verses mine crawl into forms
You'd think words would want to be free

  1. I wouldn’t only think words want to be free,
They want to be expressed beyond our caged thought,
They beg to form our lines and verses alike,
For out there, there is one or two or more who needs to hear
    Probably read them.

Thank you for writing David and for your visit to Dreams N Reality and for liking my piece ‘When’. It’s so appreciated.

Keep penning, the inks quest to flow

    1. Those are lovely words and images ~ thank you!

BTW – these lines really resonated with me in particular:

For a new me must be birthed,
Now that anger burns this self.

      Sincerely,
      David
