An Alliterisen
Silly sprites and dancing dryads rejoice Flighty flitting faeries hug towering titans Leprechauns leap by greasy goblins Delighted dwarves feast upon luscious lamp chops Brownies boogie to sirens' song Knowing noble knight stands, self-satisfied Sadistic sorcerer now never more
The Alliterisen
The Alliterisen (Complex and Rhyming), a form created by Udit Bhatia, is a simple seven-lined poem with a specific syllable pattern and two alliterations per line. For example: Glorious Graves, and wonderful waves. Alliteration is the succession of similar consonant sounds. They are not recognized by spelling, but rather by sounds.
Good against evil.
May the noble always prevail.
Love the magical touches in this. 🙂

Great alliterisen! BTW here’s my first kyrielle, a bit unruly but neverthless an attempt:
Thank you for sharing! ❤

What a poetic festival – defeat of evil and the rejoicing of all. And their hero is satisfied by the happiness not demanding tribute, pay, or any other form of compensation…
❤ Yep! he's the rizzle dizzle! ❤
sadistic sorcerer flees raucous ravens… (K)

A fun poem 🙂
❤ Thank you, Dave ❤ – you're very kind!

I just finished erecting our sukkah ~ I’m pooped!
I bet, from what did you construct it? Or do they come as a kit? What about a photo, please?
They sell kits, but as pieces tear and/or break over the years, we purchase new ones. I can post a photo for you, but it’s nighttime right now so you’ll have to wait 🙂
The frame is made out of metal. The walls are cloth, attacked at the top and bottom to the frames. The top is a bamboo mat.

Right about the kits then, yes I would love a photo when it is daylight.
oh my goodness this is complicated but awesomely winsome, lovely!
❤ Kate ❤ – thank you!

I’m familiar with Chabad, Andrew, as are most Jews 😉
I know ,Succot begins on 20th,here anyway, just thought I’d send it.🌻
it begins on the 20th everywhere – at sunset.
Isn’t harvest festival and Feast of Booths or Tabernacles ? Is the week named for Succoth being the first place they reached. The meaning of ‘the first stage of Succoth?’ The 4 kinds are almost the same as the roof construction of the Exodus booth’s????
I do think that the name “Sukkot” is related to that geographic stop after Egypt, but I’ve never heard that the four species (palm, willow, myrtle, etrog) have anything directly to do with the structure of the booths that were built by the Israelites…
there are various interpretations in Jewish tradition:

Qaraite interpretation
Gives the latter surmise
jittery jew jams with the best – may they call him juvenile – it’s joy that matters; jolly good (it’s catching , keeping me from the day job if I am not careful) 🙂
