My 2nd Minute Poem
They're packaged into forms as though we poets know how to use words. How quite absurd. Syllables; enjambments; and lines can sound sublime and pleasure bring - but mean nothing. Our hopes rest with our audience, who might gift sense and meaning to... You do? Who knew!
The Minute Poem is rhyming verse form consisting of 12 lines of 60 syllables written in strict iambic meter. The poem is formatted into 3 stanzas of 8,4,4,4; 8,4,4,4; 8,4,4,4 syllables. The rhyme scheme is as follows: aabb, ccdd, eeff

It’s just not an option. You can’t take the same photograph every time and live with art forms with no differences.–Ben Harper (b. 1969)
