My 2nd ‘Bridges’ poem
Some hold all is poetry, see it in the sun, In trees, leaves, grasses, animals, as children run - In life's allure; In love, pain, birth, sorrow, beauty, holiness, death - Even as they sustain this poet's breath - It's something more.
Rules for ‘The Bridges’
- Stanzaic, written in any number of sixains;
- L1,L2, L4 of each stanza is iambic hexameter;
- L5 iambic pentameter; and
- L3 and L6 are dimeter;
- Rhymed, rhyme scheme aabccb, ddeffe, etc.
