      BTW, please feel free to call me ‘David’, which is my first name. The word ‘ben’ just means ‘son of’ in Hebrew, and I created this blog in honor of my father whose name was ‘Alexander’.


          1. True, and mainly by way of the name Benjamin, it seems. I’m sure you already know this, but I looked it up, wondering why it wasn’t Benyacov (son of Jacob), and discovered ‘yacov’ means “right hand” or “right side.” Anyway, funny that thousands of western men are simply called “Son of.”
