Oz, or: Path beneath

Poetry Partners #53

‘Oz’, a poem by royalpalmtree of ‘Sharing the light of God’s Word’

Blue birds can fly over the rainbow,
So what's stopping you
From taking that same flight
And achieving your dreams?

A magnetic naani by ben Alexander of ‘The Skeptic’s Kaddish’

Songshine rains through thick
blanket on verdant forest
path beneath dusk cloud rivers
~ beautiful, bright soonlight

Let’s write poetry together!

When it comes to partnership, some humans can make their lives alone – it’s possible. But creatively, it’s more like painting: you can’t just use the same colours in every painting. It’s just not an option. You can’t take the same photograph every time and live with art forms with no differences.

Ben Harper (b. 1969)

Would you like to create poetry with me and have a completed poem of yours featured here at the Skeptic’s Kaddish? I am very excited to have launched the ‘Poetry Partners’ initiative and am looking forward to meeting and creating with you… Check it out!

  1. Oh always breathtaking and so exhilarating when poets explore the secret lives of nature, extending the possibilities of humans portrayed by the flight of the birds and the song of the forests..

    Just beautiful

  2. Incredible that you’ve now published 53 poems in partnership. I love reading them and seeing both the diversity and the unifying weaving going on. Thanks so much for these gifts you and your blogging community are sharing.
