    1. โค Robert โค ~ I often wonder that same thing myself. *sigh*

BTW, please feel free to call me ‘David’, which is my first name. The word ‘ben’ simply means ‘son of’ in Hebrew, and my father’s name was ‘Alexander’… I created this blog in his memory.

I know this is confusing because ‘Ben’ is also a name in English – I’m sorry about that!

      Take good care,
      David

  1. All pertinent quotes. This was my first time reading Thomas Paineโ€™s quote; the feeling it produced was powerful and true.

  2. As they say, everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die. We canโ€™t change the world without changing ourselves. (K)

  3. A great collection. Thank you.
I was shocked to read that a year ago Europe was refusing to share COVID vaccines with Ukraine. Today we gift them armaments. Russia offered them vaccines, which they refused. Today they are bombarded. What does this say about our values?
