An ‘Eleventh Power’ poem
Hooray! I love to rhyme! So, I s'pose I will! 'Course, counting syllables is also great fun! No amount of wordplay could give me my fill; Poetic forms enchant; p'raps I'll try this one! It makes me feel good to hone my writing skills; And once I have finished, it feels like I've won! I'm not sure why odd forms give me such a thrill... Well, they certainly beat going for a run! If a form feels awkward I'll try to push through; Sometimes I give up... then go at it anew. Now I feel uplifted... Honestly, don't you?

Let’s write poetry together!
When it comes to partnership, some humans can make their lives alone – it’s possible. But creatively, it’s more like painting: you can’t just use the same colours in every painting. It’s just not an option. You can’t take the same photograph every time and live with art forms with no differences.–Ben Harper (b. 1969)
