‘What do you see’ Prompt #144
For Sadje’s weekly #WDYS prompt, she offered the photo below as inspiration for writers to produce art.
Let’s write poetry together!

When it comes to partnership, some humans can make their lives alone – it’s possible. But creatively, it’s more like painting: you can’t just use the same colours in every painting. It’s just not an option. You can’t take the same photograph every time and live with art forms with no differences.
–Ben Harper (b. 1969)
Would you like to create poetry with me and have a completed poem of yours featured here at the Skeptic’s Kaddish? I am very excited to have launched the ‘Poetry Partners’ initiative and am looking forward to meeting and creating with you… Check it out!
Love this💙

Beautiful, David. ❤️

My pleasure.

Wise descriptive words, Ben … nicely written.
Isadora 😎
💞 thanks, Isadora 💞
BTW, please feel free to call me ‘David’. That is my first name. The word ‘ben’ simply means ‘son of’ in Hebrew; and my father’s name was ‘Alexander’… I created this blog in his memory.
I know it’s confusing because ‘Ben’ is also a name in English… sorry about that!
Much love,
David
Thank you for letting me know, David. It’s the right way to address someone. An honorable thing to gift your late father. I was raised in an orthodox Jewish neighborhood. I thought I was Jewish when I was a child, there were only 5 non-jewish families. Our was one … Thanks for sharing the love … Isadora

Beautiful poem. If you see the light then it’s always the right direction.
