A ‘Septolet’
Many Russian officers refuse to fight in Ukraine. Russia's contractors also have low morale.
Septolet?
The Septolet is a poem consisting of seven lines containing fourteen words with a break anywhere in between the two parts. Both parts deal with the same thought and create a picture.

Simply because the quote I first thought of had been ‘made’ glamorous throughout the ages -and I tend to head over to quote investigator to see what all the ‘things’ said, through the ages – refer to similar thoughts.
Out of that article – I pulled my fave – – On many fronts in the world? For many nations, struggles, those in power through force – where sanctions by chess players (the original players were ‘kings’ for chess, so I’m told….) Me? If all the average everyday working folks said to kings, to predators, to carpetbaggers, to robber barons, to those who believe they have been divinely appointed to be a leader with unlimited power?
It’s always the same- -the goal is not to “die” for your beliefs, but see if the other person is willing to die for theirs when they meet with unyielding resistance to whatever game they wish to play – often?
No bombs, etc., ever needed. Simple power of heart – but leaders with militaries or bullies with guns or strength, just think, always, they can take/get whatever they want – just until – – they overreach and/or run into the person/many persons who say, “Um, no – ya want that? Have fun, but I ain’t gonna help ya – “

In the ‘We create our reality’/new age/various spiritual/living life at it’s fullest, fronts ? I see this lil thing get overlooked by many true believers of those fronts, too – often – it’s not just about physical force or anything else – every front/belief/ideaology has some threads, often, of ‘truth’ running through them, but still – much as I hate to side with the ‘happy-wappy’ positive thinking crowd, that I often believe are delusional and not in touch with reality of the work to be done, here, now??
True peace will never happen until each individual has both the patience and tolerance to deal with those in pain, lashing out, but also, not until many are willing to go out into the world as it is, and put their money where their mouth is – regarding ‘peace’ –
Here in USA? To me? Really took off in the early 2000s – the self-help guru crap that refers to historic religious texts on various fronts – but really? Most of the true believers?
Ahh – they are only kind, at peace if they wall themselves off from the news, only hang out with folks like them, or who ‘feed; their need to always be positive, meet ‘their’ expectations – and usually after their life is more settled – abundant, etc. LOL
What a crock – overall – to me – but, um, I swim everyday in the very judgemental, ugly world of small minded, ‘just my world’ humans – over and over – and they all think I’m crazy – thus – nothing I share should ever be considered wise to point out – LOL
I will say, I’m rather a hard-arse on some of these topics – Simply because, I once, long ago, read “The Lucifer Effect” by Phillp Zimbardo and I’m a fan of Nassim Taleb Nicholson – each for very different reasons – but in my mind – between those two works – on top of my early education on various fronts – me? I just can’t ‘forget’ that stuff – sigh – thanks for listening – I just follow so many global news fronts and bloggers from so many places, I just get really frustrated sometimes with those who only expose themselves to ‘what makes their life easier to bear’ or what they are ‘forever outraged over and don’t ‘need to learn more’ on any front – at all – and sometimes? The only place I can share/have a conversation with another, a true one, based on ‘in common’ wishes to ‘work through it, figure it out, how to, for this thing, how else to look at it that leaves me better able to assess the whole thing and pick my part/where I make a stand in it out I can live with” — ???
Here – with bloggy pals from different countries, different faiths, different daily lives from mine – that are willing to share and truly hear my heart – for me own double check – I’ve been mad on many global affecting things since 2002 – thus, if I’m mad – best to double check I’m not in a rut and closing me self off to new information –
Many things in war are done, so horrific things, that don’t actuall kill/maim others forever, unless ‘oops’ but it happens all the time – it’s part of the shock, awe, total demolation of the hearts and spirits of a population and yes, Sometimes? I read reports – I watch medical fronts of breakthroughs that help those tortured, raped, etc., stuff that doesn’t kill them but effectively, makes an example of them or takes them out of the battle by stealing their spirit – It’s horrific to me – but I refuse to close myself off to the fact it still waves through so much of our world – because – my only survival strength ever, has been getting mad – and the only reason I didn’t lay down and give up, ever, in less dark/less hard times, was because I got mad – Getting Mad doesn’t mean ya wreak destruction or wipe out everyone in your path – It simply hones your boundary lines of where – for better or worse – your life or theirs – you will stand your ground and where/why/how you will choose to do such things in way you can live with –
