A ‘Dizain’
Luscious, thick flavors swirl and stream
Marshmallow; she's flushing... so cute
Waffles topped with vanilla cream
Seeing her lips renders me mute
My mind is blank; I taste fresh fruit
I cannot tear my gaze away
Swallow... mm... mango chardonnay
Strawberries tease my tongue anew
Her woman's come-hither hips sway
She's molten chocolate fondue

Synesthesia?
Synesthesia is when the stimulation of one sense leads to involuntary experiences in a second sense. This is often manifested as letters or words having color, colors having flavors, smells having a sound or sounds having a taste, etc.

Let’s write poetry together!

When it comes to partnership, some humans can make their lives alone – it’s possible. But creatively, it’s more like painting: you can’t just use the same colours in every painting. It’s just not an option. You can’t take the same photograph every time and live with art forms with no differences.
–Ben Harper (b. 1969)
Would you like to create poetry with me and have a completed poem of yours featured here at the Skeptic’s Kaddish? I am very excited to have launched the ‘Poetry Partners’ initiative and am looking forward to meeting and creating with you… Check it out!
Reminds me of the famous scene in Tom Jones โค๏ธ

I donโt know if one can attach gourmet to such a decadent delight of dessert
Gourmet in my mind has more to do with cured meats and wine
Like vintage dining, something of that sorts
So I would have to settle with glazed decadence
Oh gaze you mean
But then again you listed a gourmet chocolate fondue
Yummy
I think dessert can also be gourmet, no? I could be wrong!
Possibly
I always read about a gourmet dish
I cant access the linkโฆbut by the wording I see what you mean
actually – I changed it to ‘steamy’ – whaddaya think?
or…. maybe I should go with “molten”?
That sounds like a hot desert
But it shouldn’t be bad with icecream melting all over it.
In the olden days they were called baked puddings…lol..
And ice cream was considered to be the cherry on the top.
Or strawberry, depends what you prefer…so molten or steamy sounds delicious
well fondue is hot liquid chocolate… so… hmmmnnnn…….
Oh yes, you put me in check there with fondue, sounds way more decadent than just a hot dessert
or maybe “intense” ? or … “bubbling” or “bubbly” … or “creamy” … or … hmn…
Noooo leave intense out of this please….that is sooooo gourmet
Bubbling bubbly yessss youthful chemistry
I decided to go with “molten” because the short “o” sound matches the “o” in “chocolate” and also in “fondue” – so it has a certain ring to it ๐
Saucy, I like it. ๐
oh, that’s clever, Abi ๐
โบ, thank you David
