A ‘Septolet’
The port city of Odesa is hit by Iranian-made drones. Russia denies targeting civilians.
Septolet?
The Septolet is a poem consisting of seven lines containing fourteen words with a break anywhere in between the two parts. Both parts deal with the same thought and create a picture.
Let’s write poetry together!

When it comes to partnership, some humans can make their lives alone – it’s possible. But creatively, it’s more like painting: you can’t just use the same colours in every painting. It’s just not an option. You can’t take the same photograph every time and live with art forms with no differences.

Would you like to create poetry with me and have a completed poem of yours featured here at the Skeptic’s Kaddish? I am very excited to have launched the ‘Poetry Partners’ initiative and am looking forward to meeting and creating with you… Check it out!
I am devastated. I couldn’t find any images of which building was hit. If you have any links with more details, David, please send me.

I don’t know exactly where the drones hit…
Thank you for the link, but some sources say, “military facility,” while others mention “an administrative building.” Still, no images.
No, no images
but of course… 🥹

Putin’s people
Are getting wiser.
They see,
Hear,
Care.
They are not fools.
Beware!
I’ve been following the news surrounding this war very closely, Jan, and I must say that I see little to no evidence that Putin and/or his people are getting wiser!

Darn!! I may be watching with hopeful eyes that see what I hope to see.
Sometimes – I wish there were a I read button – In addition to the Like – nice poetry – short and sweet – no-likey all the reasons why such poetry is written as a mirror to show ourselves, to ourselves, through art, in the first place – but sigh – it is what it is – and maybe why creatives/artists so often end up tortured? It seems to me, so often, those who seek to creatively express the truth in the world, get lost in the horror of being the mirror to show it –
On the other hand – great artists? Figure out a way to not get lost in the ugly – Kudos to all artists – who walk both sides of the divide and manage to not be destroyed by it –
❤ Tamrah Jo ❤ ~ parts of me do feel destroyed.
Many philosophers over time have referred to the very real truth that if we gaze upon reality, of the world around us, if we seek to engage, find solutions, etc., there is always the risk of being destroyed or getting lost in the dark, some part of us – I prefer those modern ‘self-helpers’ who basically say – “It’s like breaking a leg – it heals, but it will never be the same again – it’ll ache in cold weather, ache more as time goes by and when pushed hard, and yet, ya figure out a way to dance on it anyhoo’ – 😀 Hugs from afar, David
❤ thanks, T.J. ❤
I don’t believe anything coming from the Russian Military… https://youtu.be/qDc_5zpBj7s
and well you shouldn’t, Muri – it’s all lies.
Thank you for sharing.

The most advanced technology employing the worst form of mental health – suicide- to destroy infrastructure and key points
It is madness really.
utter madness. and so many more will unnecessarily die now that Russia is mobilizing…
There is something I flipped over today…I think one of the generals were removed.
One has a sense that everything isn’t in order within the upper ranks.
Has Putin mobilized more ground forces?
well, they claim it’s a “partial” mobilization of “only” 300,000… but most people in the know expect them to mobilize a million eventually…
but many of those men have to undergo training of a few months to be combat ready…
