W3 poetry prompt
This series of chain verse haikus was written for Aishwarya Kannan’s W3 poetry prompt. Poets are encouraged to write at least three haikus in chain verse, using the word ‘mother’.
Let’s write poetry together!

When it comes to partnership, some humans can make their lives alone – it’s possible. But creatively, it’s more like painting: you can’t just use the same colours in every painting. It’s just not an option. You can’t take the same photograph every time and live with art forms with no differences.
–Ben Harper (b. 1969)

It canโt be easy
No it is never easy for a poet to take his pen and inscribe the impressions and feelings of his mind on paper when it comes to the death of of a young person. All conflict has become the death of us
Tragedies are hearbreaking. Meditated and planned ones are devastating.
My deepest sympathy. ๐

Old scores continue to be settled
Young lives are sacrificed.
I was going to ask about the bombing since I missed the details. No words for it.

Wonderfully constructed Chain and the haikus are outstanding! Such a waste of potential and a wounding of more than 18 – it wounds a whole nation!

My sincere sympathies. You described the terrible tragedy amazing. It’s sad we poets have to find our inspiration in such horrific events. But the world isn’t perfect at all.
