Your life is a story like the wind,
Like the sky,
Like a river,
Or a ship on the sea.

Harder still to understand;
Let if flow this story, let if flow.
Search the sea’s, search the skies;
Search for the Spirit of the great heart,
The Spirit of the great heart to stand you by.
Only then will it make sense.
Only then will you understand,
Your life is story like the wind!

Your end awaits you like the earth.
Even now your lungs breathe minutes,
Even now old cells decay.
This great planet's thrumming heartbeats mirror yours.
Feel your warm body's carnal rhythms,
Feel the flesh, feel the pulse;
Let then drive your story, let then drive.
Comprehension stills the mind.

Like magma turned lava,
Like rushing ash,
Like the crust,
Your end is a story like the earth.
