With accursed weakness for Adonises (Whether Jorges, Olegs, or Thomases), The lonely, lovely lady, Beguiled by suitors shady, Would fall head over heels for false promises.

here’s a definition of the word heel, among many others:
: a contemptible person : a person who is self-centered or untrustworthy
Ok, I had no idea that heel took on such a shady meaning as well
