A ‘Septolet’
Ukraine's emerging more united, determined to become democratic. Russia's suffering from declining living standards.
Septolet?
The Septolet is a poem consisting of seven lines containing fourteen words with a break anywhere in between the two parts. Both parts deal with the same thought and create a picture.
Let’s write poetry together!

When it comes to partnership, some humans can make their lives alone – it’s possible. But creatively, it’s more like painting: you can’t just use the same colours in every painting. It’s just not an option. You can’t take the same photograph every time and live with art forms with no differences.
–Ben Harper (b. 1969)

Ukraine, the sovereign state is now 32 years old and unlike many other countries who are her age peers, has emerged from all the turmoil and strife with a stronger sense of national identity, ironically breaking away from imperial Russia more solidified since the war which started in February 2022.
Largely isolated the war and sanctions are eroding Russiaโs economic outlook for years to come. Imperial Russia is crumbling.
This is the mother of all wars.
