A ‘Septolet’
Russia's critical supplies are running low. Russian cannon fodder draws and depletes Ukrainian fire.
Septolet?
The Septolet is a poem consisting of seven lines containing fourteen words with a break anywhere in between the two parts. Both parts deal with the same thought and create a picture.
Let’s write poetry together!

When it comes to partnership, some humans can make their lives alone – it’s possible. But creatively, it’s more like painting: you can’t just use the same colours in every painting. It’s just not an option. You can’t take the same photograph every time and live with art forms with no differences.
–Ben Harper (b. 1969)
Would you like to create poetry with me and have a completed poem of yours featured here at the Skeptic’s Kaddish? I am very excited to have launched the ‘Poetry Partners’ initiative and am looking forward to meeting and creating with you… Check it out!
It doesn’t look like it’s ending soon, though.

This one is heart breaking in its truth. Russia is now throwing away its own youth and still the killing continues. When will the madness stop??

It sounds even harsher in a poem this reality.

Wonderful.

Nice words are put together well. I am a terrible poet, somewhere between an illiterate and a six-year-old child.
๐๐๐ป Phil ๐๐ป๐ ~ it’s like anything else… just practice.
