Russia suffers 200,000 casualties in one year. Putin decides to conscript 400,000 more troops.
The Septolet is a poem consisting of seven lines containing fourteen words with a break anywhere in between the two parts. Both parts deal with the same thought and create a picture.
Let’s write poetry together!
When it comes to partnership, some humans can make their lives alone – it’s possible. But creatively, it’s more like painting: you can’t just use the same colours in every painting. It’s just not an option. You can’t take the same photograph every time and live with art forms with no differences.–Ben Harper (b. 1969)
Would you like to create poetry with me and have a completed poem of yours featured here at the Skeptic’s Kaddish? I am very excited to have launched the ‘Poetry Partners’ initiative and am looking forward to meeting and creating with you… Check it out!

I suspect that if they really manage to arrest him for war crimes, whoever replaces hm would have a pretext to end this criminal misadventure without losing face.
💞🙏🏻 Dolly 🙏🏻💞 ~ I doubt he’ll get arrested; he’ll just stay within Russian borders
Abducted and brought to trial (one hopes!)?
Soon there will me no men left in Russia! That is half the workforce!! This points to very tough times for Russia and the Russian people though I suspect Putin is insulated from any hardship.

Today the ICC issued a warrant for Putin for war crimes, specifically, abducting Ukrainian children. I believe many more war crimes have been committed. Though it is likely that Putin will never be tried, I think a warrant is a step in the right direction. Thank you, David, for keeping the Ukrainian war in our consciousness.
🧡 😓 Cheryl 😓 🧡 ~ no, I also don’t think he will ever be tried
Madness manifested, so sad

Failures leads to escalation
But so do perceived victories of war.
Escaltion amidst devastating casualties
💝🙏🏻 Abi 🙏🏻💝 ~ it’s surreal and dreadful
Yes David, these iron cladded regimes just refuse to fall.
