A ‘Septolet’
Russia invades Ukraine. Once-neutral Finland enters NATO, as support for joining skyrockets to 80%.
Septolet?
The Septolet is a poem consisting of seven lines containing fourteen words with a break anywhere in between the two parts. Both parts deal with the same thought and create a picture.
Let’s write poetry together!

When it comes to partnership, some humans can make their lives alone – it’s possible. But creatively, it’s more like painting: you can’t just use the same colours in every painting. It’s just not an option. You can’t take the same photograph every time and live with art forms with no differences.

Would you like to create poetry with me and have a completed poem of yours featured here at the Skeptic’s Kaddish? I am very excited to have launched the ‘Poetry Partners’ initiative and am looking forward to meeting and creating with you… Check it out!
Are you suggesting that Europe is becoming more militaristic? Finland has a long and sad history with Russia, so it only makes sense.
I am supportive of Finland joining NATO to an infinite degree. Specifically because of Russia’s aggression.
It’s ironic that Russia’s actions have brought about the exact opposite of its desired reality!
I think living next door to a volatile and dangerous country would make me gook for a safe haven and Finland wants to avoid being the next victim to Putin’s ego!
